Clarkstown - On Sunday October 19, 2014 at 8:15 PM the Clarkstown Police Department responded to Target in the Palisades Mall for a report of fraudulent transactions. Callie Trice, 36, of Hartford, Ct., had made two purchases using an out of a state drivers license and made payment with checks that appeared to be fraudulent. Upon further investigation it was determined that Trice was in possession of the 3 forged drivers licenses and numerous forged bank checks. She had made two purchases totaling $150.00. The merchandise included gift cards and electronics. Callie Trice was arrested and transported to the Clarkstown Police Department. She was charged with Possession Forged Instrument 2nd (felony), Forgery 2nd (felony), Criminal Possession Stolen Property 4th (felony), Identity Theft 1st (felony) and Petit Larceny (misdemeanor). She was arraigned in Clarkstown Justice Court. Bail was set at $5000.00 and was transported to Rockland County Jail. She will return to court on October 22, 2014 at 1:30 PM.
